This year's mid-year concert features Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms. It is on Sunday 5 July starting at 3pm in the beautiful and historical St James Church near Hyde Park in
Phillip Street Sydney.
The Leichhardt Espresso Chorus will be supported by an orchestra that features harps, trumpets and percussion. The program will include lyrical works by Morten Lauridsen (O Magnum Mysterium) and Frank Martin (Agnus Dei). Our accompanist, Luke Byrne, has commissioned a wonderful new piece for this concert. Come along and hear the world premiere of Salmos de Santiago. The new Leichardt Ristretto Chorus will perform Aaron Copland's Quiet City.
