LEC has announced its 2011 season, consisting of four main concerts. Our In Concert page provides more detail on each concert.
The year gets off to an early start with the Queensland Flood Appeal Concert on 6 February.
We present Haydn's Heiligmesse at St James Church, Sydney, at 2pm on Sunday April 10. Join us after the concert for champers, cakes and coffee in the crypt.
Then, in mid-winter, we present Sonnets and Sax, with music from John Rutter and our latest commission, Lines in the sand Dan Walker. Join us at the Italian Forum Cultural Centre in Leichhardt at 3pm on Sunday 26 June.
LEC journeys to Coonamble in September in continuing the choir's role as choir in residence at the Moorambilla Festival. The 2011 Moorambilla Gala Concert is scheduled for 7pm on Sunday 24 September.
Carols on Norton in 2011 will take place at 7pm on Sunday 18 December in Pioneers Memorial Park, Leichhardt. This year the concert will feature, for the first time, Benjamin Britten's A Ceremony of Carols.
